Sonderserie zum Abschluss - Laco verabschiedet Fliegerchronographen mit limitiertem Modell
Pforzheim, Juli 2017 - Die deutsche Uhrenmarke Laco mit Sitz im badischen Pforzheim hat eine Firmengeschichte, die bis ins Jahr 1925 zurückreicht und ist damit durchaus als Traditionsunternehmen zu bezeichnen. Seine Bekanntheit erlangte Laco mit dem Bau der legendären 55 Millimeter großen Beobachtungsuhren als eine von fünf lizensierten Firmen in den 1940er Jahren.
In der aktuellen Produktpalette stellt der Fliegerchronograph „Kiel“ einen Klassiker dar. Nun nimmt Laco das Modell, das seit 2011 auf dem Markt ist, aus der Kollektion. Nicht jedoch ohne einen besonderen Leckerbissen für Liebhaber: eine limitierte Sonderserie bestehend aus nur 25 Exemplaren. Das Sondermodell „Kiel Limited Edition“ zeigt sich wie sein Basismodell, mit gut ablesbarem schwarzem Zifferblatt im Edelstahlgehäuse mit 44 mm Durchmesser. Abgerundet wird dies beim limitierten Modell durch die farblich angepasste schwarze Kalenderscheibe, die sich harmonisch ins Zifferblatt einfügt.
Das doppelseitig gewölbte Saphirglas bietet beste Sicht auf die deutlichen Leuchtzahlen und markanten Zeiger. Hinter der sportiven Fassade tickt mit dem Schweizer Automatikwerk ETA 7750, ein bewährter Klassiker der Uhrenbranche. Das Kaliber ist auch durch den Gehäuseboden aus Saphirglas zu bewundern. Ein Kalbslederarmband zeigt sich zum Fliegerstil passend mit Nieten und heller Naht. Als Besonderheit hat jedes Exemplar der Sonderserie zusätzlich die Limitierung als Seriennummer an der Gehäuseseite graviert.
Der limitierte Chronograph ist ab Juli 2017 exklusiv für 1.798 Euro bei Laco im Onlineshop oder direkt ab Werk in Pforzheim erhältlich.

Waving farewell with a special edition: Laco says goodbye to its pilot chronograph by releasing a limited-edition model 
Pforzheim, Germany, July 2017 – The German watch brand Laco, which is based in the city of Pforzheim in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg, has a history that dates back to the year 1925 and can therefore definitely be referred to as a traditional company. Laco first attracted attention as one of five companies licensed to produce the legendary 55-millimetre-large aviator watches back in the 1940s. 
One of the classic watches in its current product portfolio is the pilot chronograph „Kiel“. Laco has now, however, decided to remove this model, which has been on the market since 2011, from its collection. Before doing so, it is offering watch-lovers an extra-special treat in the form of a limited special-edition series comprised of just 25 units.
The „Kiel Limited Edition“ looks just like the chronograph on which it is based, with a black dial that is easy to read embedded in a stainless steel case with a diameter of 44mm. This limited edition is rounded off by its colour-coordinated black date display, which is incorporated into the face in perfect harmony. The watch‘s sapphire crystal is domed on both sides and provides a perfect view of its clear luminous numbers and distinctive hands. Behind this sporty-looking exterior is the heart of the watch: the Swiss ETA 7750 automatic movement, which is a well-established classic movement in the watchmaking industry. The calibre can also be admired through the watch‘s sapphire crystal case back.
The calfskin strap of this pilot chronograph perfectly suits its aviation background thanks to its rivets and pale stitching. Every watch in the special series also offers an extra-special feature in the form of its own limited-edition status engraved on the side of the case as a serial number.
The limited chronograph will be exclusively available from the Laco online shop or directly from the company‘s factory in Pforzheim for a price of 1.798€ from July 2017.
